one thing off my wishlist

just happy that after all the wishing, and waiting i finally got it. technically it's not mine but for the whole family.
finally got our own digicam!! (see post re: wishlist) i love our cam!! i'm thinking of a good name to call it to make it really personal.

no more excuses that i don't have enough pics of the kids. time to exploit them while they're young hehehe and when they grow up they can cringe and be embarrassed when they see their pics. (time to get even? i went through that too and with 4 big albums to prove it. haha)

i'm happy at least there's one thing off my wishlist. :)

birthday/xmas wishlist

since my birthday's 11 days from now and xmas is just around the corner, might as well make public my wishlist. it would be great if i could get this from people who love me (hint hint hehe) or one of these days i'll be able to purchase them with my own money.

on with the list:

1. the simplest of all, i really want to have my own koosh ball, and in shades of blue and purple please! :) - don't you just find them really fun to play with? one of the old school ways to let go of stress. and the sosyal version of sipa. diba?

2. a starbucks mug, i really want to own lots and lots of those mugs! and tumblers too.

3. a supply of ben and jerry's ice cream, and special mention to the chunky monkey variant yummy! :) - happy food for my tummy!

4. a nike imara spin watch in purple - don't you just love looking at it?

5. a copy of the original dvd of neverwhere the series - along with all the books and graphic novels of neil gaiman.

6. purple hi top chuck taylors - yes, again, in purple can't you see a pattern?

7. canon ixus 75 digicam - for those camwhoring moments with friends, aishi and the kids.

8. adidas jacket - one originals and the other adidas pilipinas - super nice and super pricey. and it would be great if the originals come in purple/lilac too! :)

and this list will keep on getting longer and longer...

the magic ends...?

just finished reading book 7 of harry potter. unfortunately i read this as an e-book. i'm still going to read it again, this time if i get my hands on that hardbound copy.

anyway, as usual, j.k.rowling didn't disappoint her readers. it was action-packed to the end. although there are a few parts that were a bit dragging, but then again, i'm not complaining.

finally, a lot has been revealed in the book!!

i just hope the epilogue was much longer and more detailed than it was...

maybe there would be a book 8? this time telling the story after the fall of the Dark Lord and what happened after.

i'm intrigued as to what happened to the Malfoys after all that transpired in the story...

and the deaths to too many characters... i admit i did shed a few tears... i seriously felt the loss.

now it's time to wait for the boxedset of the 7 books... :D
