one thing off my wishlist

just happy that after all the wishing, and waiting i finally got it. technically it's not mine but for the whole family.
finally got our own digicam!! (see post re: wishlist) i love our cam!! i'm thinking of a good name to call it to make it really personal.

no more excuses that i don't have enough pics of the kids. time to exploit them while they're young hehehe and when they grow up they can cringe and be embarrassed when they see their pics. (time to get even? i went through that too and with 4 big albums to prove it. haha)

i'm happy at least there's one thing off my wishlist. :)

this is not another stardust movie review

because everybody who watched has already blogged about the movie and what they thought of it. i mean, any neil gaiman fan would say they loved the book and read it a million times like i did and loved the movie considering there were a few scenes in the book not included in the movie and some characters weren't there.

so no, i'm not going to do that. and i'm no film critic. i'm just going to put in what i liked:

>personally, i think someone could play a much better role of yvaine than claire danes. and no, i'm not harboring any ill feelings toward her behavior about us pinoys.
>robert de niro is to die for!! a really different twist to cap'n shakespeare. ahlavet!!
>michelle pfeiffer = hot! now that's the way to age. one hot/smoking witch!
>did you notice rupert everett there? he's one of the 7 brothers.
>sir ian mckellen as the narrator. perfect!
>tristran looked way cuter when his hair got styled by mr. de niro

overall, i had a blast watching the movie. even aishi, who i've been pressuring to read the book loved the movie. although he still won't read the book.

i also found the song/vid of the song that was playing when the credits were rolling. and it was a surprise. buhay pa pala ang take that! hahaha boy band moments ito. hahaha

just finished reading book 7 of harry potter. unfortunately i read this as an e-book. i'm still going to read it again, this time if i get my hands on that hardbound copy.

anyway, as usual, j.k.rowling didn't disappoint her readers. it was action-packed to the end. although there are a few parts that were a bit dragging, but then again, i'm not complaining.

finally, a lot has been revealed in the book!!

i just hope the epilogue was much longer and more detailed than it was...

maybe there would be a book 8? this time telling the story after the fall of the Dark Lord and what happened after.

i'm intrigued as to what happened to the Malfoys after all that transpired in the story...

and the deaths to too many characters... i admit i did shed a few tears... i seriously felt the loss.

now it's time to wait for the boxedset of the 7 books... :D

someone will give me this as a present... i'd love to have all three books. :)

dear lord, i hope someone hears my prayer to have all three postsecret books... it would make me a happy girl again. i miss having books to read... i promise to take care of it and pass it on to my kids and their kids. amen :)

campaign for real beauty

when this website was first launched, i jumped at the opportunity because they were giving away free t-shirts made by kate torralba. i mean how easy can that get? submit a story and you get a free shirt! amazing!

so i did sumbit my story, which by the way is 100% true. no BS.

and after a few weeks, i got a package! i got my shirt!! the funny thing is, i got another package with another shirt! hey i didn't object. i got two free shirts!

if you haven't shared your story yet, do so. and not only get a shirt (dunno if they still give away though but you also get to inspire a lot of people- especially young girls) but get your story published and read by everyone, maybe your story would inspire someone or even boost someone's self-esteem! this is one TVC that i agree to. show your true and beautiful colors! nobody's prefect and it's ok! :)

we weren't able to reserve for harry potter in imax because all good dates and seats were sold out. we were hoping to watch either thursday or sunday but well... too bad. so we just reserved our seats in greenbelt 3 on sunday. so much for the imax experience. i guess that would be for the next movie.

at least we still get to watch harry potter!! yipee!! :)

I just recently got hooked on heroes. I’m one of the few who got word from others about this series when it was about to end. At that time I was still finishing my prison break marathon – and I can’t wait for the 3rd season!

Anyway, on with heroes, I’m still watching it and I’m on my 12th episode. I still have a lot to watch but from this point I must say this series is one of the best. I’ve been searching the web for some quotable quotes because some of the lines are quite worth mentioning. If you know such sites, please share it with me.

I really can’t talk about heroes that much since I have to finish the series first, so, I’ll just mention little tidbits…

Hiro Nakamura: he’s just the cutest Japanese boy ever! Cute in the sense that he’s like a little boy, with his little voice. Wahahaha :P he’s my favorite hero!! now I want to learn Japanese too!!

Now, with Sylar, he’s just the hottest villain ever! Hehehe kahit siya maging contrabida ng buhay ko, ok lang! hehehe

Sana Sept 24 na… para Season 2 na!!! :D
