sakto... para sa mga emo at feeling emo

salamat kay tado at nahuli mo ang meaning ng mga emo. hahaha (obvious ba na asar ako sa mga emo?) credit: http://bigtimetado.multiply.com - check out the shirts and other items he's selling. in your face talaga at swak!

Just Fine - Mary j Blige

Current Feel Good Song. Along with Good Life by Kanye West

sing with me now. heheh

Let it go……
Can’t let this thing called love get away from you
Feel free right now, go do what you want to do
Can’t let nobody take it away, from you, from me, from we
No time for moping around, are you kidding?
And no time for negative vibes, cause I’m winning
It’s been a long week, I put in my hardest
Gonna live my life, feels so good to get it right

So I like what I see when I’m looking at me
When I’m walking past the mirror
Don't stress through the night, at a time in my life
Ain’t worried about if you feel it
Got my head on straight, I got my vibe right
I aint gonna let you kill it
You see I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just…..

Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Just fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
You see I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just fine

Feels so good, when you’re doing all the things that you want to do
Get the best out of life, treat yourself to something new
Keep your head up high
In yourself, believe in you, believe in me
Having a really good time, I’m not complaining
And I’m a still wear a smile if it's raining
I got to enjoy myself regardless
I appreciate life, I’m so glad that it's fine

So I like what I see when I’m looking at me
[Just Fine lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

When I’m walking past the mirror
Aint worried about you and what you gonna do
I’m a lady so I must stay classy
Got to keep it hot, keep it together
If I want to get better
See I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just…..
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Just fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
See I won’t change my life, my life’s just fine

I ain't gon’ let nothing get in my way
(I ain't gone let nobody bring me down, no, no, no)
No matter what nobody has to say
(No way, no way, no way)
I ain’t gon’ let nothing get in my way
No matter what nobody has to say

Feels so good, when you’re doing all the things that you want to do
Get the best out of life, treat yourself to something new
It’s a really good thing to say
That I won’t change my life, my life’s just fine

Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Just fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
See I won’t change my life, my life’s just fine

So I like what I see when I’m looking at me
When I’m walking past the mirror
Don't stress through the night, at a time in my life
Ain’t worried about if you feel it
Got my head on straight, I got my vibe right
I ain’t gonna let you kill it
You see I wouldn’t change my life, my life’s just…..

Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh
Just fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, ooooh

nothing to lose

Overview
Your sign is Rooster.
All you single Roosters; it’s time to make hay while the sun shines! With both lucky stars, Xian Chi and Tian Xi in your constellation this year, it will be raining suitors from the opposite sex and you will be faced with the delightful dilemma of deciding whom to choose.

Famous Rooster:
Catherine Zeta Jones, Britney Spears, Faye Wong, Francies Bacon, Enid Blyton, Sir Michael Caine, Enrico Caruso, Christopher Cazenove, Jean Chretien, Hayden Christensen, Eric Clapton, Joan Collins, Rita Coolidge, Craig David, Daniel Day Lewis

Your reading:
All you single Roosters; it’s time to make hay while the sun shines! With both lucky stars, Xian Chi and Tian Xi in your constellation this year, it will be raining suitors from the opposite sex and you will be faced with the delightful dilemma of deciding whom to choose. Tian Xi influences your serious relationships, which signifies the possibility that you are likely to commit to a long-term relationship that could very well end up in you getting married. You also have higher odds of becoming a parent or getting a promotion. On the other hand, Xian Chi influences your more temporary relationships, which means you could get romantically involved with someone you’ve known on a platonic level so far, but the relationship is not likely to last.

Financially too there’s good news for Roosters. Your tremendous popularity and good relationships with others is likely to have positive ramifications on your income also. Rejoice, Roosters; you have the best financial luck of all the zodiacs this year. So even though it is not really your year for investment, you could and should take your chances. Go ahead and invest if any opportunity presents itself. Your good luck will surely rub off on your investments too.

You are likely to deal with disputes and gossip by arguing with others face-to-face. Going against your regular nature you will find yourself fighting with others all too frequently.

eeek! gasp! *faint*

that was my rection when keon's yaya appraoched me and told me she's going to pull out a strand of dead hair. i was ok with it since i have a habit of pulling out my dead hair when bored.

what resulted from the title above when upon close inspection of the hair, i saw that it was WHITE.

OMG. white dead hair.

the dead hair i could live with, but WHITE?!?!!

i'm too you to sport white hair. no effing way.

yeah, so i made a big spectacle about it causing much confused and worried faces from my kids. i guess they were thinking that their mom has gone wacko and totally lost it.

other may think this is an overreaction over something little. i guess it is. but...

the thought of moving one step towards getting old, scares the crap out of me. seriously.

and that white strand of hair has been taking refuge in my planner. maybe as a reminder that *lagot ka yags* you are getting old.

or maybe, stress. i read somewhere that you get white hair when you're too stressed. (sige, i-justify mo pa)

oh well.

i just hope i won't see another one anytime soon.

my bunso

i've discovered a pattern with my two boys:

once they turn a year old, they get tired of sleeping in the crib and prefer to sleep, nay, snuggle and "siksik" themselves beside aishi and i in our beds.

as of this writing, kyle has been sleeping beside us ever since keon "moved him out" of his crib. it was his to begin with.

and now, keon's been showing signs that he wants to sleep beside us too.

it's no problem now for him to sleep beside us since we're staying at our in laws and the beds there are bigger than the ones we have at home. aishi, kyle and i share the same twin sized bed. imagine if we have to squeeze keon in. one of us is bound to fall on the floor and the likely victim would be me.

i guess it's time for us to look for a bigger bed.

or a house of our own.

or stay with the in laws for now.

haaay, this is what it feels like when my boys are growing up.

literally, there are no more babies in the house (my parent's) and aishi's.

~~

and of course, pre school hunting has officially started for kyle. and the school has to pass my standards... (taray effect)

what my name means

What Hazel Means

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are incredibly wise and perceptive. You have a lot of life experience.
You are a natural peacemaker, and you are especially good at helping others get along.
But keeping the peace in your own life is not easy. You see things very differently, and it's hard to get you to budge.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.
What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

amazing, it was quite accurate. :)

a new tattoo

a new tattoo - urbandub

Great moments they pass by
If youre careless
Desperately trying to speak the words
Ive been wanting to say for a long time.
Tongue tied, every time I try to talk to you
In time, Ill find the right line.

Caught a glimpse of you
I tremble every time you walk by
Hopelessly trying to find a way
To be near you, to get near you.
In my mind, plays thoughts of you all the
time
Ill find the right line

Ill bleed for you
Like a new tattoo in my heart
Youll stay permanent

Am I too late now?
Will I find a way to get to you somehow?
Shes breaking me down again
Shes breaking me down

love, love , love the song!!

cross posting..

blogger and multiply. imagine that.

looks appealing but then, i'd rather not. some blog posts are not meant to be read by some people. mahirap na. blog posts are doors that open to misinterpretation.

ayoko na ng mga ganung reaction na walang kwenta.

nakakasira ng ulo at panahon.

marami lang issue siguro yun.

counting with kyle

kyle has learned to count from 1-20 in english for quite some time now so recently we started to teach him how to count in tagalog considering he can't understand tagalog, yet. hehehe and this experience was really funny.

me: ok kyle let's count in tagalog from 1-10

me: isa
kyle: i-sa
me: dalawa
kyle: da-wa
me: tatlo
kyle: ta-to
m: apat
k: apat
m: lima
k: li-ma
m: anim
k: nim
m: pito
k: pitoy

dito ako natigilan, at natawa ng sobra. kyle was even laughing when he realized he said his dada's name. i couln't continue anymore so he finished counting.

k: wa-wo
k: sham
k: sham-pu

yey!!! i asked him to repeat it again but, nag expire na ang moment. hehe

ok, next on the agenda, counting in chinese, and aishi got it covered. :D

7 signs your child loves you

got this from baby center:

The BabyCenter Seven: Signs that your child loves you

1. Your newborn stares into your eyes — he's actually working hard to memorize your face. He doesn't understand anything else about the world, but he knows you're important.
2. Your baby thinks about you even when you're not around. Between 8 and 12 months old, he'll start to scrunch his face and look around when you leave the room — and he'll smile when you return.
3. Your toddler throws wicked tantrums. Nope, those screaming fits don't mean he's stopped loving you. He wouldn't be so hurt and angry if he didn't trust you so deeply.
4. Your toddler runs to you for comfort when he falls down or feels sad. Kids this age may not truly understand the meaning of "I love you," but their actions speak louder than words.
5. Your preschooler gives you a flower picked from the garden, a finger-painted heart, a sparkly rock, or another gift.
6. Your preschooler wants your approval. He'll start to be more cooperative around the house, and he'll look for chances to impress. "Look at me!" will become a catchphrase.
7. Your grade-schooler trusts you with secrets, like his first crush or his most embarrassing moment. You're his confidante, even if he shies away from your hugs in public.

i agree on this and yes, my sons do love me.

imagine waking up and seeing them smile at you, beats any perfect sunrise.
the way they fight for my attention when i get home, makes me feel really in demand. ha!
when kyle throws tantrums if and when i am within his line of sight. if i'm not at home he doesn't make a grand performance of it. and when i leave for work in the morning, imagine the cries, the shouts and the flowing tears as of i'll never be back and he won't see me anymore.
the way keon's face lights up when he sees me approach him.
the way keon would put his head on my shoulder when it's time for bed or when he'll immediately fall fast asleep when i put him on my chest and leave a contented sigh.
the way he sleeps when i give him my tigger pillow, my scent must lull him to sleep.
the way he would call our attention when we're playing with kyle.

yes, my kids do love me. and of course their dad too, but they have their own ways of expressing how much they love their dad too. :)

first monday blues all over again

it's funny that after almost 6 years of working after college, i finally felt what monday blues stand for. well for me, that is.

it's this moment where you're raring to do things, made all the lists, wrote in your notebook for ideas etc. but your mind just wouldn't and couldn't cooperate at all.

welcome back to working haze. hehehe

thank you for making Keon's first birthday party a blast!

my little boy had a great time even if he had cough and colds and was running a fever. seeing him interact with jollibee was really priceless.

again, thank you for those who shared the love and the moment with us!

before there was diego, now it's thomas

no, i didn't replace aishi for these two boys - if you can call them that.

my kids are the ones who had a let's say, kiddie obsession with them. it all started with diego. kyle would throw a mini tantrum if he didn't see diego on tv. but here's the thing, he wakes up at around 830 or 9 and diego doesn't come on in nick junior until 930. so we had to distract him with other cartoons until he can watch diego in peace. heck, with the diego obsession, we even bought him a diego doll as a xmas present, which was by the way rewarded with a big smile. and did i mention keon was 100 times happier than he is when he saw that doll?

and then one day, it was all over with diego.

and thomas comes into the picture. i vaguely remember that when my brothers were still littler we were able to watch this and up to now it has been quite popular with my kids and their generation! and it even makes my dad super happy because the storyteller is ringo starr (of this band named the BEATLES no less!)

and now another obsession begins. we got the toys, the dvd and even watching in youtube every single day. and kyle has even taken to memorize the engine roll call. while keon, with limited speaking skills, is happily content with bouncing up and down when the credits roll. but during the show, i've got 2 behaved angles for around 20 mins. and the kids don't like being bothered while watching. but it does makes a good companion when we have to feed kyle.

oh, before diego and thomas, there was lightning mcqueen too and mater!!

hahaha

this paid blogging thing and paypal

can someone please shed some light on this? seems appealing to me but i'm still in the dark on how to go about it.

i'm concerned about the pay per post/paid blogging thing and how you can get the payments thru paypal considering that paypal philippines can now accept payments (if that's the correct term) and you can withdraw it through a local bank.

help please?

a little extra income would really help.

email me na lang oki? :D

back from hiding... again

finally had time to blog and really monopolize the internet connection and really call it my own. (well technically since having my own pc and cubicle already - more on that later).

just a little snippet of update before i head on home since my little boy keon's celebrating his first birthday today. but we'll have the grand celebration on saturday.

> been a working mom again for a good week already in one of the jobs i have been dreaming about before. and i'm really happy here. more relaxed, and from the looks of it, people motivate you well here and let's you do your own thing. really i have been raving the whole week. hence, the reason why i can go back to blogging again. but i don't think i can post pics as often as before though but that can be arranged when i do get my turn going online at home.

> mom's retired from the job she's been doing for more than 30 years. and from the looks of it she's quite happy with the decision. (and thank god i won't get to spend time with her almost everyday and being asked to clean clean clean. it does get tiring really to be asked to clean the same thing everyday. spending time with her and her grandkids on weekdays are good for me. hehehe but don't get me wrong, i love my mom to bits along with all the nagging and stuff, i think i should know now, i bet i'll go through that when my two boys grow up. hahaha

> still trying to move forward with the jewelries thing, although i don't have time to drop by quiapo to buy more stuff that i used up. i miss quiapo...

> and i'm overflowing with excitement that incubus will be here. the only dilemma now is where to get the moolah to pay for the tickets. anyone care to sponsor me some? hehehe

anyway, i'm off to go home and be with my kids.

more updates in the coming days... i hope..

new year, new life, new journeys

so 2008 has begun and honestly i still have no clue what will happen this year. will there be the same drama, conflicts and stress that i went through last year or will this be the clean slate i have been waiting for?

i have read a lot of blogs and they've listed their resolutions and wishes and i thought why not go with the flow and make one too?

what have i been thankful for 2007?
> my kids are healthy and happy even after the high fevers, colds and crying spells, they come out more happy and better.
> that aishi and i still get by one day at a time even if he's the sole breadwinner, for now.
> that my family's doing ok and there's nothing to complain about.
> that some of the things i wished for, came true, in their own time.

what do i wish for this 2008?
> health, wealth and happiness - the usual :)
> that we (aishi and i) remain the good parents that we are with our two boys.
> that my two boys grow up to be the gentlemen that i am wishing they would be and still remain as my babies forever.
> that we maintain the friendships that we have and create new ones that are worth keeping, and not use them as merely connections to get what we want. we create friendships for friends and not contacts.
> materially, i/we wish that we could start purchasing our own things that in the future when we move into our new homes, there's something to put in and not just the kid's toys. :)
> that our dreams of migrating to someplace much better than here - for the kid's future. (i'm seriously losing hope in our country... sad)
> that mama and dada grow old until their golden years, just like lola honey so that they could see their great grandkids too.
> that my 2 bros would get on the path that they want to pursue.
> and that this business thing, should it be really for me would be fruitful. extra income does help nowadays.

my resolutions for 2008
> get off the couch and start going to the gym.
> try making time to go to the gym.
> save up for the kid's education
> move forward with my business
> document more the kid's moments and milestones and moments with good friends
> take care of my teeth better now that i'm metal-free!! finally!!
> get insurance for the kids, aishi and me and the family.
> lessen procrastination
> to finally really overcome being shy. (yes, i really am shy. i just use humor to mask it. hehehe)
> to not really believe in horoscopes and fortune tellers.
> not be afraid to say no or i can't.

i still have 11 more months to keep this list updated, but more or less these are the things that are important to me.

happy new year!!!

~~~~
i won't be uploading as much pictures like before, but if you want to view the pics, hop on over to my multiply page, to be really updated on what's happening with me, the kids and aishi. :)
