so, on with the adventure that day... :)

taking advantage that Tuesday was a holiday for us working people, we were lucky that Ms. Jill, editor and i guess owner of Ideal Images Studio schedule Kyle's test photoshoot that day. good thing the studio was located in Makati and we really didn't have a hard time looking for the place. thank God for handy maps! we arrived 10 minutes earlier than scheduled.

good thing that Kyle was in a good mood and very talkative and his usual kulit self so the photoshoot was a breeze. give or take a few hitches along the way since we are dealing of course with a toddler here. good thing Ms. Jill was really patient with kyle. she was really determined to capture that perfect shot of kyle no matter what it takes. even making a fool out of herself and ours too.

at first i was a bit scared that kyle might get shy or even scared of strangers. amazingly, he wasn't. it seemed like he knew Ms. Jill a long time! he was actually playing with her! at least i'm assured that my son, is not that afraid of other people.

the shoot took around 2 hours since kyle had 2 costume changes. at first aishi and i were thinking about purchasing the cd that included all kyle's pictures for p1,000 pesos. since the photoshoot was in essence free. it was a test photoshoot naman kasi. after much deliberation on aishi's end, he agreed to purchase the cd. Ms. Jill was even kind enough to tell us that we can just deposit the amount since we didn't have enough cash on hand. all along i thought aishi agreed to it. but in the middle of the shoot, he told me he was just going outside. i thought he went outside for a smoke but he was really gone longer than usual. i found out that he went out searching for the nearest ATM so that he could pay Ms. Jill right then and there. and kyle's yaya was the one who told me. hehe

after the photoshoot and the 2 hours we stayed there in the studio. i knew kyle was getting tired and restless already since it was his naptime already. we thanked Ms. Jill for being accommodating and hoped that they would choose kyle as their magazine cover model. i'm a bit optimistic that it would happen since i have full confidence in my son that his charms worked. :)

i'm so happy in being a stage mom.
